Friends of Nursing

The pandemic took a tremendous toll on the nursing industry. While today’s workforce is no less dedicated and skilled, they are younger and need additional resources to excel and thrive in their careers. That’s where Friends of Nursing can help. Whether it’s funding for advanced education and training, equipment for the hospital’s simulation lab or vital retention and recruitment activities, your commitment will make a difference for these selfless caregivers.

For more than 35 years, Friends of Nursing has celebrated our front-line caregivers, making a difference for those who care for our friends, our families and our neighbors. Friends of Nursing recognizes the vital role nurses play in our work to transform health care and create healthy communities. Funds raised throughout the year support nursing excellence, research, and advanced education for Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center nurses and professionals who wish to further their careers in nursing.

Since its inception, Friends of Nursing has supported more than 170 health care professionals by providing scholarships for advanced education and ensuring that projects such as the hospital's Nursing Simulation Center are brought to fruition. To support Friends of Nursing now, please click here!
